After the completion of the ANZAC Equestrian History Film Project and Mozaic and Glass Art Project – Local Artists Lillian Shewring and Jason Makeig are still going strong with the next installation of Equestrian and ANZAC related public art!
(What another wonderful excuse to create some lovely art in our gardens here at the enterprise centre in Pomona!) Come and Check it Out and see for your self our growing collection of garden art!!

The wood burning art project has been a lovely new exploration of a different media – and has incorporated re-used found objects, beautiful old timber pieces and some interesting burning techniques with flame, stencilling, and soldering.

Lillian says about the works and the process:
“It has been a really wonderful and exciting investigation into a process I have not worked with too much before – so I feel honoured to have been part of this project to learn new things – and again pay respect to the essence of mateship and strength that was and is so characteristic of our local ANZAC equestrian history”

Here are some images of the process and finished works!

Please feel free to contact us to find our more about our recent public art projects or commissioning a piece for yourself!

Jason’s Finishing touch – the beanie!! haha
